Welcoming the First DARA PhD Fellows: InauguralInduction Days

In May, DARA welcomed its very first cohort of PhDFellows for the inaugural DARA Induction Days, marking an important milestonein the development of a new national research community.

The Induction Days brought together nine talentedearly-career researchers from different disciplines, institutions andbackgrounds. From the very beginning, the cohort demonstrated a shared sense ofcuriosity, openness and ambition, as well as a genuine willingness to learnfrom and collaborate with one another.

Building skills, connections, and community

The programme combined inspiration, professionaldevelopment and community-building activities designed to support the fellowsthroughout their PhD journeys.

The fellows gained new perspectives on the PhDexperience with insights from Alexander S. Hauser, explored targetedcommunication strategies with Robert Benjamin Bjerre Andersen fromArtikulation, and worked with Katrine Ellemose Lindvig and her colleagues fromCoNavigator on interdisciplinary research, collaboration and reflection.

The week concluded with the LEGO Golden BrickChallenge at LEGOLAND — offering the fellows an opportunity to put theirteamwork and collaboration skills into practice while enjoying a fun andmemorable shared experience.
