We are proud to announce DARA’s first nine PhD fellows — talented researchers embarking on ambitious projects across the natural, technical, and medical sciences. Their work marks an important step in DARA’s mission to support interdisciplinary research and world-class PhD training.

The PhD fellows represent a broad range of research backgrounds and bring diverse perspectives, experience, and innovative research ideas to the academy. From January 2026 onwards, the 2025 Summer Open Call PhD fellows will begin their PhD projects at institutions across Denmark. We look forward to following their research projects and the contributions they will make to the Danish natural, technical, and medical community over the coming years.
